Patnam Muni Raja.

Patnam Muni Raja is a 3rd generation handloom weaver from Venkatagiri who has been weaving for the past  30 years now. In 2003, he was presented with a national award for his skill in weaving  jamdani Venkatagiri sarees of fine counts; a technique passed down from his grandfather. Through the  Sarees of Memory project Patnam Muni Raja hopes to continue hand weaving sarees using traditional techniques.
